Protecting institution & student data

We protect institution and student data, and give the institution full control and governance over its data. This policy explains the principles we commit to around data ownership, isolation, export, and backup.

The institution owns its data

All institution and student data remains the property of the institution, from day one until the contract ends. We state this explicitly in the contract, while preserving the institution's right to access and manage its data at any time.

Data isolation

Each institution's data is fully isolated from others; every institution has its own domain and independent environment, so no institution's data mixes with another's, with fine-grained permission controls over who can access information.

Full export

The institution can export its full data at any time in standard formats, helping it keep a copy of its data or move it when needed — without its data being locked inside the system.

Backups

We rely on regular backup mechanisms to protect data against loss or corruption, with recovery plans that ensure business continuity and access to information when needed.
